The LED lighting is a nice feature. The bins for storage inside have a third shelf which can be folded down to store tall objects. The drawers include temperature controls that allow you to set them to Meat, Beverage or Deli settings. The drawers are simple to open and shut however I found the textured plastic coatings to be a bit rough on my fingers.

The GE PGE29BYTFS Smart Refrigerator comes with the complete set of features you'd expect from a fridge at this price with Wi-Fi and app support via GE's SmartHQ software. The app, available for iOS and Android devices, lets you control your fridge from anywhere in the world, and offers numerous options for customization. It will also send you notifications when the door is unlocked and when the freezer or fridge needs to be defrosted, and when the filter needs to be changed.

It would be great it GE PYE22PYNFS offered Precise fill, an option available in a handful of GE refrigerators that allows users to set how many cups they want to dispense. It does have a countdown feature on the fridge display to show how much water you have left, but it's not as useful as Precise Fill.

Bosch Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

This refrigerator is a great option for a single family or kitchenettes looking for a sleek design and top-of-the-line food preservation.

This refrigerator was rated as the top in our Refrigerators Test for a variety of reasons. The temperature of the freezer remained constant at just above 0°F and never changed more than a tiny fraction - this is crucial to avoid freezing burn. The fridge's fridge section also performed well, reaching the desired temperature for initial set within a matter of hours and keeping that temperature steady over the course of our tests.

Bosch is known for its high-end appliances and appliances, so it's not a surprise that this counter depth refrigerator is also a smart appliance that has the option to connect to your home Wi-Fi and Bosch's Home Connect platform. The fridge is expensive however, it offers excellent features and functionality at a reasonable cost.

It is crucial to be aware of the limitations of your fridge. You may need to get inventive with tall items since the fridge has a limited shelf space. Also, the shelves are not sprillproof and can be easily stained or damaged by sharp objects. The trays can be easily removed from the fridge. However, they should be cleaned frequently to stop the growth of mold.

The LG LRFLC2706S is an excellent counter-depth refrigerator that packs a lot of storage in the frame's compact size. It has a sleek, fingerprint-resistant stainless-steel finish and features thick handles that make them comfortable to grip. The fridge features an ordinary integrated french door refrigerator freezer 90cm ice & water door layout, with two rows of spill-capture shelving and a set crisper drawers. The top shelf to the right can be folded to provide more space for tall items. You'll also find a full width deli drawer and an internal water dispenser.

One of the best features of this refrigerator is that its Ice maker is located in the freezer, making it simple to move ice into the fridge to use as required. The freezer also features clever design features, such as sliding drawers that can help you sort your things. It has a large bin to store frozen food items, and a separate one for ice.

Another awesome feature of this refrigerator is its Smart InstaView panel. You can control the temperature, lighting and other aspects of your fridge using your smartphone. It's a simple way to keep track of your fridge and manage it, particularly when you're not at home.

The Smart InstaView feature is neat, but it doesn't necessarily enhance the efficiency of the fridge. In fact it took a bit longer to defrost and chill foods in this fridge than some of the others we tried. This is probably due to its larger capacity.

Another issue with this refrigerator is its doors. The handles that are sunken allow smaller people to open them from the bottom. However, taller people still struggle to close them without slamming. It would have been much better if they had handles mounted on the front.

The LG Counter-Depth MAX fridge is a great choice for those looking to combine the look of a French door refrigerator with a more efficient design. It has a capacity that is superior to counter-depth models and also cools evenly. It's also a bit cheaper than the top counter depth refrigerator that comes with an icemaker, which makes it a desirable option.

Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

If you're looking for a french door fridge lock door refrigerator that won't cost a fortune this Frigidaire is a solid option. It's a simple fridge which may not be as attractive like some of its competitors however it has enough features to make it a suitable option. Its most important characteristic is the adjustable temperature drawer that helps keep food items like meat and vegetables fresher for longer. It also has a large water dispenser and a decent ice maker that operates quickly.

The "Chill Drawer", which is situated over the two crisper bins, is another nice feature. This drawer allows you to use the majority of the fridge's cooling power into this area, so that you can keep food items which need extra attention. This feature can be adjusted using an outside slider that is located inside the drawer. You can also use this feature to adjust the general cooling settings for the whole fridge, though I've found that adjusting the generic settings tends to be more effective than specific ones.

In my tests, I discovered that the temperatures of the refrigerator were fairly consistent across different areas of the fridge. The temperatures in the middle, top and bottom of the refrigerator didn't vary significantly from 38 degrees. This is a great performance however it doesn't make it into the top ten in our rankings.

This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead. This fridge can be connected with a smart thermostat in order to obtain more precise readings of the internal temperature of your fridge.

The exterior of the Frigidaire is made of grey-bodied stainless with a "smudge proof" finish. It does an excellent job of removing streaks and fingerprints, even compared to glossy stainless steel finishes on other appliances I've tested.
