Three Wheeled Buggies

It handled cobbles, grass, and rough pavements as well as dirt tracks and kerbs. Kath wrote "it is solid to push and very solid when you're on rough terrain. Its tyres (which are inflatable so need occasional pumping) have suspension built-in which was extremely comfortable for my children.

The size and shape of the seat is a further factor to consider. It is important for the seat to be large enough to allow your child to be comfortable and allow them to lie down. Some three-wheel buggies will have an option to lie flat completely while others allow an adult facing one.

MFM reviewer Kath tried a 3-wheeler with her infant and toddler and said: "The Terrain was a pleasure to navigate over the rough ground, with the swivel front wheel being particularly helpful. I was also awed by how well it dealt with kerbs using the hand-operated break. It was very stable for descending or on a rough terrain."

The only drawback to this incredible maneuverability is that the three wheel buggy's larger wheels sometimes mean that it can struggle in tight spaces - something to keep in mind especially if you live in a metropolitan region. If this is a problem then a 4-wheeler might be better for you.
