Albums

The discography of the American rock band Toto includes 13 studio albums, four live albums, and several compilations. Toto has released original music as well as collaborated with other artists on soundtracks and films. Toto has won numerous Grammy Awards for their work.

Before the formation of Toto the group, members worked as sessions for other musicians. David Paich, the son of drummer Marty Paich, and Jeff Porcaro (the brother of guitarist Joe Porcaro and drummer Jeff Porcaro) all played on Boz Scaggsalbum from 1975 Silk Degrees. The collaboration led to the formation of Toto in 1976.

The band's third album, Turn Back, marked a departure from the more progressive sound of their earlier albums and was criticized for the lack of hit singles.
